The author of this book thought I might be interested in it since it has a story about Jamaica, the combined driving horse that won horse of the year. I'm usually not one for sentimental stories, especially sentimental horse stories, so I bought a copy with a grain of salt in my cheek. Well, I read the book cover to cover in a few days. Sure, there are sappy stories in this book, but fun, interesting and intriguing stories as well. It was a nice break for me as a professional trainer to read other peoples stories and tales. I think most horse people, even the jaded ones will enjoy this book. There's a story for everyone in here.
