I've gone through a lot of long lines in my time. Long lining is an art as much as a skill, but one that can yield fantastic results. Getting the right set of lines in your hand can help a boat load. You want a line that is wide enough to fill your hands so they are easy to hold on to. The weight of the line is quite important. If it's too light, it likely will cut through your hand, and blow all over the place. I line that's too heavy will amplify the weight you are using on the bit, yet you won't notice at your end of a 20 meter line.
These lines are just the right combination of weight, softness and length. They are folded at the horse's end, so they glide through the harness terrets easily. At your end, there is a handy plastic clip to keep the together (so when you drop one rein, all is not lost!) There is a brass snap to clip to the bit.
The lines are available in Natural and Black.
