This week’s focus: Transitions
This is a great place to focus some attention in your spring training. Transitions are great for getting your horse to focus on your requests, & build stamina. It’s also really easy to make a transitions workout a low-impact, light-work lesson. With that in mind, I’d suggest using the Dial Exercise.
If you’ve been working with me over the years, you know that the Dial Lesson Plan is my #1 go-to lesson plan. This is a great place to get our spring lessons started, because you’ll use this lesson plan throughout the rest of the year. It’s also a really flexible lesson plan that you can adapt to many situations.
Sign up for the class, get to work on your transitions, and submit your videos for personalized coaching!
How it Works
- Sign up for the course
- Get an email confirmation with details on view the course page & joining the live session
- Submit your video for review (it’s ok if you don’t submit a video)
- Join the live coaching session and learn good stuff!
Submitting Your Video
The best way to share videos is by uploading them to Vimeo or Youtube. Then you can share the link to the video with me in the comments section of the class page, or email the link to me.
You can also use file sharing services such as Google Drive or DropBox to email me the link to your file.
Sometimes the best learning can happen when you take a step back and look at things from a different perspective.
We can review videos that you’ve taken of your driving, riding, or long lining to find areas of strength and weakness in your skills, and your horse’s training.
Don’t worry! You videos don’t have to be from yesterday! We can use video you’ve collected over any time period.
I’ll give you suggestions on how to improve on what you’re working on, and what direction you should take next.
Group Coaching Page
