Just about every good idea in the world has an origin story.  This is the origin story of how I came upon the system that I use to teach horses how to stand today.  It started with someone dropping off two ponies that were rotten to the point of being feral.  Well, no one ever drops off perfect ponies for a horse trainer! (btw, that’s a picture of really good ponies.  None of those ponies had anything to do with this, but they’ve all benefited from it!)

Those ponies made me reevaluate much of what I had learned and practiced in training horses up to that point.  This is a fun, slightly silly read, but the experience has truly made a difference in my life with horses. What came of that experience was quite surprising!
