This lesson plan is a staple of my everyday work with horses and students. It can be used in long lines, under saddle, and from the carriage. This easy to remember, fundamental lesson plan is the building block for many of my other lesson plans.
On its own, this lesson plan is great for bringing a horse back from a long layoff. As a horse gets more fit, this is my favorite go-to lesson plan as a warm up for more demanding work.
