Description
We’ve all been there. You have an anxious horse, but it’s time to drive. Time is tight, so you do the best you can to get the horse to be “still enough” to hitch and go.
Of course, when that horse returns to that kind of hitching scenario, things may not be so easy, so you recruit some help. Not just any help will do. You need someone boss enough to manage the horse while you get him put to. Your helper manages to keep a good enough hold on the horse long enough to jump in the carriage, and off you go.
Eventually there’s going to be a breakdown. One day there won’t be that extra hand, or worse yet, one helper won’t be enough. You’re just steps away from a big accident.
It doesn’t have to be that way!
This followup lesson plan to the In Hand Training lesson plan will help you get your horse to stand patiently while you hitch.
You’ll be able to hitch without the stress, worry, or anxiety for you or your horse. Get started now!
