Whip’R Snappers Educational Day, Temecula, CA – Dec. 13-14, 2025
Whip’R Snappers Educational Day — Long Lining & Combined Driving Strategies
I’ll be heading out to Southern California to teach for the Whip’R Snappers Driving Society at their Educational Day and Meeting. It’s a great chance to dig into the basics that make everything else easier, from the long lines to the marathon course.
We’ll spend time on long lining — getting your horse truly listening to the reins, building balance, and understanding the questions you’ll ask later in harness. From there, we’ll connect those skills directly to combined driving strategies for dressage, cones, and obstacles, so the work you do on the ground shows up in your scores in the ring.
The Educational Day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sutter Kirby Ranch, 34555 Santa Rita Rd, Temecula, CA. The day includes classroom discussion, live demonstrations, and plenty of time for Q&A with club members.
Whip’R Snappers members attend at a discounted rate, and non-members can join in too. Event details, contact info, and RSVP instructions are on the club’s website:
