While we were training in the Netherlands, traveling to Munich, and competing at the World Championships, your support gave us a backstop. We were still wringing our hands over expenses, but your help let us put more of our energy where it belonged: on Loretta, the training, and doing our best at the event.

What’s Next?

Well, Retta Roo isn’t done. Neither am I.

We came home with a lot to build on and a much clearer road map. We know what we need to work on, and we have more tools to work on it with. This isn’t a time to relax after checking our first Worlds off the bucket list. It’s a time to focus forward and dig in for the next chapter.

The next World Championships will be in 2028 at Haras du Pin, in France. We’re planning to be there. That means we’ll be working hard to build on our experience and, of course, earn a place on the 2028 U.S. Team.

Roo Boosters can help us get there in small ways and large.

Between now and France, there will be the ongoing work: getting instruction from good clinicians, taking training excursions, and, by all means, competing at our country’s top events.

Then there’s the big picture—the Roo Reserve.

We’ll be building the Roo Reserve for the bigger costs of another European campaign, steadily, over the next two years. You can help put Retta Roo in position to launch, with funding already set aside before team decisions are made. When that time comes, we’ll be ready to say, “Game On!”
