This is by far one of my most popular classes. Standing is one of the most universally important skills you can teach your horse.
Not only does this training make your horse safer and easier to be around, it improves your horse’s responsiveness to all other forms of training as well.
If you are having any behavior issues with your horse, this is the first line of training I recommend!

It doesn’t matter if you handle one rein in each hand as a rider, or all four reins in your left hand as a four-in-hand driver, there’s one rein that is, and always will be the most important rein. That one rein that can make all of the difference for bending through turns, square halts, or picking up the correct lead. It’s the outside rein. -
Do you ever feel “stuck” in your horse’s training? You know you want to improve, but you just don’t know what you should be focused on?
Understanding the training scale can help you identify the places where the roadblocks are in your training, and how to move beyond them. This class will breakdown the training scale in way that you’ll be able easily understand, and put to use.

If there’s one carriage driving lesson plan you should absolutely download, it’s this one. It will serve as the base for a multitude of other skill building lesson plans.
This is the lesson plan that I start almost all of my lessons with. It's easy to remember, and versatile.
This is the same lesson plan as the Training Dial 1 lesson plan, reformatted for use in an arena, and updated with easy to follow thumbnail instructions.
